We decided to take the scenic route out of Massahusetts, which was great and awful. It was a nice setting for the kids first journal entries. Left around 2:30 in the afternoon and hit a lot of traffic before even getting on to 95. We were worried because Josiah was already complaining about the traffic and we weren’t even out of Boston. Saw a man reading a book while driving, with a dollar bill as a book mark. Arrianna thought it was a perfect combination of Mama Julie and Mama Patty—books and monies. Finally got to 95 and started the actual driving at around 3:30. We decided to have an early dinner at Cracker Barrel in Providence, RI at around 4:30.
