Left DC around 5:30 pm since I had to work. We drove through most of Virginia, stopping at Uno's Chicago Grill and staying at the Best Western in Emporia, VA (8 miles from the NC border). We decided to detour off I-95 to visit Myrtle Beach. The Fodor's Carolinas and Georgia guidebook remarked that Myrtle Beach is home to the MPGA Masters--that is, a professional miniature golf tournament. So we stopped at the Hawaiian Rumble mini golf that is noteworthy for 2 things--one, the rumbling volcano, and two, being the home of the aforementioned tournament.
