We had plans but plans were made to be trained. 1:00 - When we investigated the walking tour - it actually started at 12:00pm. Thanks www.post-gazette.com for the wrong info. Comfort Inn - Sault Ste Marie Pros: Breakfast was quite good and coffee isn't bad either. The pool is open 'til 11, so my kids stayed up late to swim. The location is about 2-3 miles from the Locks and the downtown area, which was fine for our family. The Wal-mart is close by and so is Applebees. Cons: The desk staff was stressed out and there was a line waiting to check in. I am surprised that the management didn't have more staff, after all this is August in the U.P. and is the heart of the travel season for this part of the state.
