Saturday, July 8th,2006 From Providence, Rhode Island to Mattapoisett and ending in North Falmouth, Massachusetts. Connie and I flew into T.F. Green Airport in Rhode Island as usual. Made it to Rhode Island late Friday nitght so we spent the night in Warwick R.I. Then got up that morning and started heading towards the Cape. However before we got there we made a detour into Mattapoisett, a little town that was incorporated on May 20, 1857, but prior to that it was a village within the Town of Rochester. Hubby played the front 9 holes of the Ocean Edge golf course ($85 for 9 holes with cart) (back 9 are still being redesigned). He said the front 9 is nice, but narrow and tricky. Son and I went to the beach again. The resort offers beach towels, chairs and umbrellas for guests. We had a late breakfast at the Ocean edge resort Ocean Grille. It was $18 a person for the buffet, my 4 yr old ate for free. Omlettes were good as well as all the other offerings (fruit, cereals, muffins, eggs, bacon, sausage, pancakes). OJ was freshly squeezed.
