HOLUALOA , the first and nicest of the coffee-growing towns, stands well above the Belt Road, scarcely three miles out of Kailua, and feels a long way removed from the hurly-burly below. This sleepy village consists of a single quiet road (Hwy-180) that meanders across the flanks of Hualalai, 1400 feet up from the ocean, and is lined on either side with small galleries and workshops, as well as orchards brimming with tropical blooms.
