Well, today we drove from Denver into the mountains. We saw warm, sunny temperatures and we saw snow! A-Basin is still open and we saw people skiing! Caryl left the warmth of our car to venture outside at Loveland Pass - and if Caryl leaves the warmth of the car, you know the views are awesome! Tonight we stopped in Salida, we ate and swam in the (supposed) hot spring pool. Now, we're going to get a good night sleep and leave for Toas in the morning. Brisbane, Australia (BNE) to Denver, USA (DEN) Well, the first day of my trip and my first flight leaves at 12.40pm from Brisbane (BNE) which is about 90 minutes from where I live on the Gold Coast. I catch a door-to-door shuttle to the Airport which of course means getting there almost 4 hours before the plane leaves (they always factor in an hour + delay in traffic just in case), so all in all it was an early start to a very long day!
