This trip was not planned @ all. I enjoy passing Mission San Fernando Rey de Espana every time I take my daughter to visit her friend. I kept telling myself to visit the Mission & that's exactly what I was going to do, however when I got there the Mission was closed. Across the street from the Mission is Brand Park ~ Memory Garden once the West Garden of Mission San Fernando Rey de Espana, now operates as a public park. Memory Garden a beautiful Rose Garden with orange trees; in the garden is a statue of Fray Junípero Serra & a native child along with 2 water fountains. Show Less
