Five Guys Burgers & Fries, Cerritos

I was recommended to this place by a friend who claimed this was the BEST burger he had ever had. I've been to many a burger joint, from hole in the wall, to large franchise burger joints. I must say that the customer service at the Santa Fe Springs Five Guys location was great! I like the way they put their menu together. My experience there was excellent, until the moment I unwrapped the burger and tried to eat it. I must say I was extremely disappointed because what I got was a small, sloppy, Bacon Burger. What made matters worst was the fact that the bottom bun was a mushy, soggy mess. I had to use utensils to eat that thing! I was hoping Five Guys would bring more to the table. Don't get me wrong, I really like the idea, but it needs to be fine tuned a bit. Now, if I had to recommend a REAL burger joint besides a large chain such as Islands, I would say that Fatburger still kicks all their competition on their buns! Nothing like a Double King Burger with everything on it!!! Heck, some locations even serve ice cold beer! Burgers & Beer is the way to go for me!!
