Ansari's Mediterranean Grill & Lounge, Eagan

Went for the first time tonight... party of 3, 8:30pm... menu was ample as was the beverage selection. the 3 of us stood in the lobby at the podium to be seated for a solid 3 minutes as employee after employee walked past us, made eye contact and proceeded to ignore us. We ordered our food without issue. One plate was created slightly incorrectly, falafel wrap instead of a sandwich. Taste was good and I wasn't charged additionally, so I let that slide. First two entrees arrived and the 3rd entree followed 5 minutes later with no acknowledgment or reasoning. Once the food was delivered however, our waitress went M.I.A. There were only 2 tables in her section, and our glasses were empty 5 minutes after the food was delivered. We asked for refills and none were provided, so we finished our meal without beverages, paid, and left. I'd rate the food as just as good as other Mediterranean style restaurants, but our waitress left much to be desired. Minor complaints that the calamari was overpriced for the Gorton's fisherman quality and that belly dancing was scheduled on the calendar to be performed at 9pm and wasn't.
