Absolutely excellent from when we entered the door to when we left. Service excellent, staff excellent, food excellent.
We had not been to the Rivera before because of distance, but decided to take advantage of it on an early Sunday evening when it participated in Dine LA.
There was a prix fixe for three courses, three options per course, so we tried 6 different items. All six were just fabulous. We regret we only know California wines but our servers did not hesitate to recommend the equivalent in Spanish wines. We were very pleased. We will be back.
My wonderful friend Eddie Escalante took me for dinner and I must say this restaurant was the most romantic, expensive yet tasteful place that I will ever encounter. The drinks were refreshing, the presentation of the dinners were amazing not to mention how it all just melted in my mouth. Highly recommend the 4 cheeses and coffee.Yum!!!!!
Really cool place. Amzing cocktails. I had the Clover club and my BF had the Smoke on the water and then an OPP. The food is really interesting. We had a bunch of appetizers...cod,tamales, tortillas that are delicious. The pork entree...the pibil is outstanding. The vibe is really upbeat and a super sleek design. There is a room with old Tequila that is available to members only. We were going to a lakers game but will definetly go back.
