the food is great, and the staff is awesome. i got the chk enchiladas plate with the charro bns and it was of the chain.. and it was a great price i think. that everyone is san marcos needs to try there food y'all won't regret it ...

las Vega is a pretty good Mexican restruant it has good food and good prices and for a collage town that i awesome

The restaurant is fine. Service was very attentive and quick. We ordered beef fajitas and a cheese enchilada plate. The enchiladas were wonderful. The fajitas were somewhat overcooked and greasy. It was really as good as any other Mexican establishment I've been to and the prices were low. The hot sauce was very hot. The only drawback to our meal was the table of loud, obnoxious folks who had been floating down the river all day and drinking. If they remember what they were saying the next day, they'll be totally embarassed. I guess the staff is used to this type of behavior in a college town near the river. It didn't seem to phase them, but it spoiled my meal.
