Very opulent but very expensive! I ordered Shrimp opus but was served seafood trio. I thought I may have made a mistake but when I left and checked the online menu, I saw I was served and charged the more expensive dish. It was good, but I don't like scallops so part of my meal was wasted. Asked for sour cream on baked potato, got butter only. Service was very very slow. Never got a refill on my tea. Never felt welcomed.
The food was good but service horrible. I called back and told the manager what happened. He remembered me and what I was eating. All he said was he was sorry and would refund me the difference in the two dishes the next time I came in. Forget it, I won't be going back!
We celebrated my husband's retirement here with another couple and enjoyed most of the food very much. The slow service was a disappointment however and made the dinner stretch out to 3 hours which is too long. My husband loved his lobster scampi appetizer, the lobster was very tender. The bone-in filet mignon was pricey but well worth it, very tender and flavorful. The creme brulee and chocolate molten cake were wonderful. The ahi tuna appetizer was nothing special and the Steak Diane was a disappointment, not very tender or flavorful. Our server started off attentive but as the evening progressed, would disappear for long stretches. We waited 15-20 minutes before he came to remove our finished dinner plates (no bus boys that I could see). So, unfortunately, the service spoiled an otherwise good evening. I would give 3 1/2 stars.
Service was excellent. My husband really enjoyed his steak. I didn't like it as well, ordered a plain filet mignon...because I don't like seafood, it was cooked in butter and had no other seasonings on it, kind of bland. Most dishes have some kind of seafood in them such as crab, lobster or shrimp. Be forewarned it is VERY expensive. We spent $130.00 for our dinner. The restaurant offers Sunday brunch which may be a better deal.
