Grand King Buffet, Holland

we went to Holland for a quick road trip and stayed near the eerily desolate Westshore Mall.During our first night, we ate at the Asian buffet adjacent to the mall. It was looking a bit shabby and,like the mall, not very populated (this was a red flag that indicated an inability to keep customers). The next night, we decided to venture father out and try this buffet.We were much more satisfied with this restaurant. There was a very good selection of food.The restaurant was poorly located on the edge of town and a little hard to find, so you have to do some looking to spot it.$22 for a party of 2 to have the all-you-can-eat buffet seemed like a worthwhile value.I enjoyed the food at both establishments, but this was the nicer, better experience of the 2.

Love this place. Me and my boyfriend go there all the time. They have great food. My boyfriend is a picky eater and he loves it. His famiy and I may be going there tonight. For valentines day dinner. I just think heir bathrooms are nasty.

I was very disappointed in my experience at this restaurant. The food was okay, but the service, and attitude of management was very poor. I brought a large group of 12 seniors in from the home I work at. We all ordered the buffet. When we received the bill, that had tacked on a 12% gratuity. I have beeen to this buffet many times before with groups of 10-15 family members. We have never had a gratuity added to our bill. This is a buffet, YOU WAIT ON YOURSELF! When I called my mother afterwards, not only did she confirm that we have never been charged a gratuity before, she also pointed out that she and my dad are given a senior discount. When I called the manager about this, he said that if you don't mention there are seniors in your group, they don't offer the discount. We walked in there with three people using walkers, one with a cane, and another who has to hold someones arm to walk. It would be obvious to anyone with sense that these people are seniors. Any restaurant with class would have the decency to mention that they offer a senior discount. The manager would do nothing to adjust our bill. So, my residents ended up paying over $10 each for the lunch buffet and a pop each. Which is an awful lot compared to the other buffets in the area. Neither the food nor the service justifies paying this much. As you've probably guessed, we won't be going back again.

Went there last night. Food was good. Service was good. Would recommend to someone who was looking for a place to eat. I would agree with the one reviewer who said the mexican food was not so good. My wife tried it and did not like it. She felt like no one had touched it in a while. The ice cream was good as well. I noticed it was from the House of Flavors, so you can't go wrong there!

I would rate it 2.5/5, if possible, very average with slightly below average service. I love the crab legs (if you can get any, while they are fresh) and fresh fruit, but the other buffet selections really are off-putting. The serving utensils seem very dirty and sticky, especially around the ice cream area (it is disgusting). The Mexican offerings look horrendously bad, but I assume this is because no one goes to a Chinese buffet for mexi food? I have not tried the stir fry, but the ingredients look a little wilted to me.

Great prefer whether you like Chinese or not, lots of non-chinese food to choose from, price is good also. Dinner is under $10.00 for all you can eat.

who is the owner of grand king buffet?? PRO: The place is good; they have really good service; I like how there is all different types of food ( chinese, japanese, italy, etc.); you will always end up being full/statisfied; and most of all it's priceless. CON: It seems a LITTLE dirty; SOMETIMES they may be mean; and yea thats all.

My Girlfriend and I go to the Grand King Buffet at least once a month just cause we are both tired from work and want a variety to choose from. I love the Mongolian grill (I grab the peapods and other raw vegi's w/ raw shrimp, scallops, octopus w/ any sauce and hand it to the griller as he cooks it over fire in 5 minutes. (I always tip him). and Penny hits the Buffet w booqoo amounts to choose from. I go back for thirds at least and all for $10.00. The best buffett and quite sanitary. (i use hand sanitiser b4 eating or touching my food). I always bring my sanitizer. This is by far the best Buffet in Holland.

WONDERFUL! Never had a problem. Anything you need, they either have it, or they'll have it the next time you are there. Owner on hand 95% of the time to check on as many of his customer as possible. Always a great experience.
