I was very disappointed in my experience at this restaurant. The food was okay, but the service, and attitude of management was very poor. I brought a large group of 12 seniors in from the home I work at. We all ordered the buffet. When we received the bill, that had tacked on a 12% gratuity. I have beeen to this buffet many times before with groups of 10-15 family members. We have never had a gratuity added to our bill. This is a buffet, YOU WAIT ON YOURSELF! When I called my mother afterwards, not only did she confirm that we have never been charged a gratuity before, she also pointed out that she and my dad are given a senior discount. When I called the manager about this, he said that if you don't mention there are seniors in your group, they don't offer the discount. We walked in there with three people using walkers, one with a cane, and another who has to hold someones arm to walk. It would be obvious to anyone with sense that these people are seniors. Any restaurant with class would have the decency to mention that they offer a senior discount. The manager would do nothing to adjust our bill. So, my residents ended up paying over $10 each for the lunch buffet and a pop each. Which is an awful lot compared to the other buffets in the area. Neither the food nor the service justifies paying this much. As you've probably guessed, we won't be going back again.
