My friends and I frequently go to Killington's after soccer games and/or on a friday afternoon for an occasional beer. We got there on a friday afternoon at 4pm and our families were joining us at 5:30pm. At 5pm we were told that we couldn't sit at the table we were at because a group of 5 that comes in every friday was coming in and we had to move. We had 15 people coming in our party. They made us feel like we had to leave after we had been spending a lot of money with them. Then, they were watching us all night and the the people that usually come in started making faces at us. Just ridiculous. Not pleased with Killington's. We ended up spending over $200 with them over 4 hours but that wasn't good enough for them. We are heading back to the Fox and The Hound for sure. Unreal.
The food is great, the service good and the menu is full of choices. We went for lunch the first time and will be going back for more lunches and dinner as well. Greg, the owner, made us feel very welcomed and at home.
Every time I go there, I leave happy. I guess I am lucky not to have had the same experiences as the others who rated this place 1 star. The menu is huge and I have tried probably 10 items on it. I have been pleased with every one of them. The wait staff is always friendly, and the atmosphere is always great. This is a place where you can bring anyone and they will like whatever they order. I have recruited several patrons for this restaurant and I will continue to do so.
I guess some people are hard to please.
