Milliken's Reef, located southeast of Orlando in the beautiful coastal town of Cape Canaveral, offers amazing waterfront views of the busy harbor. This fine dining seafood restaurant sits across from massive cruise ships and other boats, and includes a relaxing and fun beach area with two fully-stocked bars, plus some of the best people and boat watching available in the active port. Choose from elegant inside seating for a formal atmosphere, or a more casual outside deck area that features a piano bar. Milliken's Reef is a family-owned business serving a variety of fresh, home-cooked seafood and cold refreshing beverages on the beach. Reservations are strongly advised. - Diane Dilov-Schultheis
Facilities are beautiful but the food is overpriced and not at all fresh, staff slow and inexperienced, better food next door at the Wild Ocean Market........ this restaurant is for the tourists, not the locals..........not a good place for locals to go and party because of Sheriff's dept have decided to hang there too. They must be making it on the booze..............
This is a terrific place to enjoy the great Florida weather, drinks & entertainment.
It has something for all age groups – the seniors can be indoors – the young up to middle age can enjoy outside. The staff has been terrific every time we have gone. We introduced so many of our friends to this location in return they have brought their friends. We love that dance music starts after dinner so, it’s a One Stop destination!!
It is usually crowded so, they must be doing something right.
For those who are complaining about the attire of the young girls – that’s called jealously & ladies, your men might have found the young women attractive & enjoyed the view but, in the end they went home with you.
I highly recommend this location for a local good time!!
Seriously, it is such a shame that this place has slowly gone down since opening less than a year ago. The outside bartenders wear tops that make them look like strippers, and they have girls dancing at night that DO look like stippers NOT classy at all. The inside has maintained its pleasant atmosphere, but the frozen food, and luke warm food on more than one occasion wont get me back. I would go for drinks during the day or early evening only. It has become a party place for nothing more than young spring break types. They need to think about how offensive they have become, and I am sure will not be liking the comments from the snowbirds this season. I can sum up the atmopshere outside in one word DECLASSE...They need new management!
My boyfriend and I visited last weekend on a Saturday night and were approached twice by individuals trying to sell us drugs. There were two fights and they had half the police force parked out front all night. What kind of Place is this??? To top it all off the security staff shoved my boyfriend of the door at last call. This was the worst place I have ever gone to party!!
This restaurant is horrible, the seafood is priced as if it were fresh really expensive but I can tell that it came frozen which is funny because it is right on Port Canaveral. The service is possibly the worst I have had in the area. We came here on a friday and it was busy in there but I mean an hour and a half for a table give me a break. Also the food took an awful long time to come out, for fine dining prices it really is mediocre food. If you come across this place just keep in mind that it really isn't worth the money you will shell out for frozen seafood and horrible service. Thanks milliken's for a crap meal.
Granted we went on Valentine's Day, but the service was the crappiest I've had for such an expensive restuarant. We were first called in to our table that was supposed to be ready and ended up having to stand inside for about 20 more minutes because they didnt have one ready. It took almost 3 hours to get our food and when we got it it was cold. We left the table during that 3 hour period twice to walk outside by the water and our table was cleared both times!!! No amends were made for our taken appetizers or drinks. Our bill for 2 was over $80 and we didnt even buy drinks! The food was good but as I said service and wait times for food was unacceptable. I wouldnt go there again if they gave me free dinner!!!
