We went to Cheesecake 2/8/2013 for dinner. Our server, Austin, was fantastic. He was very accommodating and helpful. However, I am extremely disappointed in the quality of food. I have Celiac s disease, so I am limited to foods with gluten. For a restaurant that advertises as high quality sure fooled me. I could not even eat the beans or potatoes because these items have gluten. These are items that should not have gluten, unless you are trying to find cheap ways to add filler ingredients, which Cheesecake obviously is. I have been at cheaper restaurants who don’t add anything other than seasoning in these items. Why does a restaurant that pretends to be high quality, and charge a lot for food, do this?
After 10 years of eating at Cheesecake Factorys all over California, I was shocked at the shoddy service and treatment I received at the Roseville Galleria restaurant. Knowing the menu well, I ordered an omelet and my wife ordered a salad during a recent mid-afternoon visit. 35 minutes later, we were still waiting for our food. Things worsened when a couple came in, ordered salads, and were eating within 10 minutes. Now 45 minutes into the ordeal, I called the server over to ask about our meal. He told me that the cooks had all been taken off the stoves a half hour earlier because of a health inspection. When I asked him why he did not have the courtesy to inform me so I could have changed my order to a salad or cold sandwich, he said he would have the manager come over.
5 minutes later, someone came out of the kitchen, definitely not a manager, and asked if they could help. When I explained the situation, they offered to comp the meal, but that we would have to wait for it to be prepared. I asked for a bill for our iced teas becuase we had already wasted an hour and we needed to leave.
Called corporate later and complained. Galleria manager called and promised to send a coupon for a free meal if we would come back. 10 days later,,,,,nada.
Stay away from this location.....poor customer service and no clue about what the Cheesecake Factory food and service should be all aboutr
This restaurant's reputation is much better than its food. The quality of the food is up there with McDonalds and Taco Bell. The cheesecake here is awful and taste like it was made with Coolwhip. If you want great cheesecake go to Reno's Eldorado restaurant. Disgraceful!
