Rock Wood Fired Pizza-Spirits, Vancouver

I've been there several times. The sandwiches are great as are the pastas. The service is wonderful. I thought the restrooms were very well maintained.

Great service, pizza was very tasty and the French Fries were super, best in Vancouver. Need to go back for more.

THE ROCK HAS ONLY MEDIOCRE PIZZA, VERY STINGY WITH TOPPINGS. THE NOISE LEVEL IS APPALLING. THE BATHROOMS ARE FILTHY, AND THE SERVICE HAPHAZARD. BUT THE SAUCE IS GOOD. OVERALL, NOT WORTH THE MONEY. CATERS TO THE LOWEST COMMON DENOMINATOR.

THE ROCKS PIZZA IS AVERAGE AT BEST. THE SERVERS ARE VERY HARD WORKING AND PLEASENT . THE HOSTESS WAS THE BEST ,A VERY NICE GIRL. THE MANAGER SEEMED MORE INTERESTED IN YELLING AT THE STAFF THAN HELPING OUT DURING THE BUSY TIMES. HE SEEMED RUDE, BUT MAYBE THAT IS HIS STYLE.

My wife and 3 kids went here and had dinner, The service was perfect our server gave us a tour of menu and actually was knowledgeable about the items on it. The inside of the resturant was new and unique and I disagree with everything Cheerio says. The food was awesome we had the founders pizza and a salad all of which was very tasty. The salad didn't have any bits that were black or old looking the bread that came with the salad was nice a warm. The pizza was the type that you had to fold in half kinda like a NY or Chicago style would be. Which was really greasy this being something I like but maybe a different selection would be needed if you were on a diet. I also had their Born to be Wild Beer this beer is a micro brew which was awesome and went perfectly well with dinner. Between this and Julianos no one should ever eat at another commercial pizza chain ever again in the Vancouver area. If i had to say anything negative about this place is the noise level can get very high so babies, or older people who don't want to listen to all the loud noise may not be a good place for you.

1st time in the place. Good Pizza, and love the atmosphere of the place. Will be back for more. Prices very reasonable. Love the menu selection.

You need to quit whining, Cherrio. My wife and I have gone a few times, and never had a bad experience. It's people like you and your stupid parties that make it a bad experience for everyone else. I don't blame them for giving you limitations. Next time you have a party, go to chucky cheeses and stay away from my good time.

Here is a letter that I just wrote to the Corporate office about The Rock....need I say more! My boyfriend and I drove up from Portland, OR to Lacey, WA yesterday to go to Cabela's. When we were done we got out our GPS and searched for restaurants. We chose to eat at The Rock and what a great choice it was! My boyfriend and I are single with no kids, so unfortunately, we eat out way more than we should. I can't tell you how long it's been since we've had a great experience like we did yesterday! I can't stop raving about how great the service, pizza, and beer was! We arrived around 6pm yesterday and Dupre was our server. He was awesome! We didn't have to wait on anything, he was on top of all of our refills, and he had a great personality. Told us a thing or two about the place and the beer! I can't say enough good things about him alone! Oh and he kindly let us know that the Vancouver, WA location just opened! We already have plans to go there next week. Not only that, but my mom flys in at the end of the month from Wisconsin.....and we are taking her there! We have allowed time to eat out once while she's here and we are taking her to The Rock! Now let me go on to raving about the beer! You guys are sitting on a cash crop and you need to start selling it! I had the Honey Wheat beer and I don't know what I'm going to do now that I've discovered it! I liked it better than Blue Moon! I spoke to a manager on site yesterday and she mentioned that people ask about buying it all the time. You have to find a way to sell it! Even if it's a growler...please! And your pizza! Wow is all I can say. I'm not a huge pizza lover, it's actually a little weird that we even ended up at a pizza location because I just don't crave pizza. But I do now. Your pizza was the best pizza I've had in my life! We had half My Generation and half The founders Pie. Wow...yum...and wow! I just wanted to send this email because I don't feel that enough people call to compliment. I hope you are able to pass along this email so the appropriate people can see it. I will definitely be recommending and returning to The Rock!
