City Vu Bistro, Holland

We stayed at the City Vu Hotel in March, 2010. We are in the Holland area for business every 2- 3 months. We checked into room 307. We had nothing but problems with this room - when I plugged in my computer sparks came out of the electrical plug. The remote control for the TV did not work, the thermostat did not working properly. Once we finaly did get heat in the room the vent on the wall rattled so loud we asked for another room. We were placed in different room that afternoon and placed a wake up call for the following monring. We never received the wake-up call and were late for our meeting. That evening we went upstairs to the rest/bar, We order drinks and food. When we received our food the plates were covered with dryed on food and streaks. We asked our waitress for clean plates and watched as she had to go thru seven to eight plates to find clean ones for us. The food was very good and the view was beautiful over the city of Holland, Michigan.
