Very nice location. Staff was great so nice and friendly! But the sushi its self was just ok at best :( If you like a friendly speedy staff this is your place but if you are looking for GREAT sushi this is not your place

The sushi here is good, smaller rolls than most other sushi places but tasty. Just eat more

Just another all you can eat sushi place in Reno. Very disappointing. All the reviews about too much rice are true. At the very most, I got less than a dime sized amount of fish in my rolls. Also, the fish, tuna specifically, was low grade. I have had better sushi at a supermarket. I won't be going back. Its so busy because of word of mouth and winning metromix best sushi place. How it won I don't know. Not worth trying. The service was good. Nice chefs, but you need more than that to be a quality sushi joint.

Not only do they have free saki tuesday and wednesday, plus 10% off all you can eat on mondays and many more great deals, The service is off the chart. Great place for newbie sushi eaters, the staff is excellent, and very friendly. The quality is great, the portions are crazy, and the price is unbeatable, What more could you ask for??? Best sushi joint in all of Reno, hands down! Go here!!!

All I have to say is FREE SAKE! I believe it's on Tuesdays and Wednesdays. A whole bottle for every person that gets all-you-can eat. Very smart promotion to get people out on slow days... The place is very cute and very clean. The customer service is absolutely astounding! You know how most sushi bars you get your one chef that makes all your orders? Well not here! You have the full attention of the staff! Every time I've been there, if one of the chefs aren't doing anything and even if they're all the way across the bar, they ask if I need anything! Now, that's customer service! The sushi is great too. I really like how they make their sushi bite-size. I don't have to turn the piece of sushi in a weird contorting position to get it in my mouth! Their prices are very reasonable as well. I'm not sure of the exact numbers but it's about average for all-you-can-eat, maybe a few bucks cheaper. I'm very traditional when it comes to sushi. I like salmon, tuna, yellowtail, etc. One of the sushi chefs noticed that all I was eating that day was salmon with lemon, order after order, so he made me a long roll that consists of pretty much just salmon and lemon! So sweet... Another thing that scores major bonus points is that all-you-can-eat includes dessert! And not just a measly thing of green tea ice cream either! You can get fried ice cream, fried bananas with ice cream, ice cream mochi, and others. Along those lines, they also have quite a few appetizers that are also included in the all-you-can-eat. And there's no limit to the appetizers like some other places (one soup OR salad). Definitely one of the best sushi places in town! The only place that compares is the one in the Circus Circus but you can't categorize a casino restaurant with a nice locally owned restaurant. Overall: great atmosphere, friendly service, good food, reasonable prices, a variety of appetizers and desserts INCLUDED, and FREE SAKE!

I was in Reno last week and decided to visit Hiroba Sushi based on comments left here as well as the recommendation from the concierge at Harrah's. What a fantastic little sushi place. It was nice getting away from the casinos and eating in a friendly, neighborhoody atmosphere. One of my traveling companions did her homework before we arrived at Hiroba, so we knew a little bit about the place before we got there. We were fortunate enough to have Kwon (sp?), the owner, as our chef during our visit. He's a great host and did an amazing job with a wide variety of sushi and sashimi offerings. We had never experienced "all you can eat" sushi, and were a little concerned that there was going to be a quantity over quality issue. Boy, were we wrong. Everything was very fresh tasting and there were no odd smells in the restaurant that might indicate less than excellent food. I would definitely eat here again and would recommend this place to any visitors.

I visited Reno last weekend and my friend Justin took me to Hiroba Sushi. I will start off my saying that THIS IS THE BEST SUSHI I HAVE EVER HAD!! The service was excellent, the selection was immense, the prices were unbelievably low for what you get, and the sushi chefs were nice as can be! The fish was also spectacular as well! Go to this place and you will be happy as a mussle! :)

Great Sushi in a friendly atmosphere. Some exotic dishes with great presentation that you don't find in most sushi restaurants. BITE SIZE pieces, not huge chunks of rice and fish that you have to cut in half or fall apart. All you can eat includes apps., and desert -- who could ask for more. Have been to a lot of different ones in Reno and elsewhere. This is the best.

Read the reviews here and decided to try this place... When we got there it was very crowed and had to wait 30-45 mins for a table. All you can eat sushi for 21.00 with free sake. I have to say i was really impressed. I highly recommend the mussels, they were so good. I can say i got my moneys worth...
