This Indian restaurant is bedecked with multi-hued silk drapes and offers a tranquil atmosphere. The lunch buffet includes several meat and vegetarian dishes, plus dessert. But for more choice, come in the evening, when the full a la carte menu is served. Appetizers include soups and salads, while seafood, lamb, chicken and vegetarian dishes constitute the entrees, together with the various side dishes and breads that always make an Indian meal so enjoyable. As you leave, help yourself to sugar crystals or mouth-freshening candied fennel seeds, served in ornate silver dishes. Rasoi even has parking - albeit limited - which is a definite novelty in the crowded university area. - Pip Lustgarten
I have been twice and loved it both times. The atmosphere is fun and classy. The wait staff is attentive. The food is excellent, whether you like it mild like myself or spicy enough for my husband. The price is great for lunch buffet and I can't speak to dinner's price considering I haven't been yet. The capper to our last visit was the incredibly friendly hostess who had some great pregnancy advice ( she looked far too great to have had kids ) for my obviously huge belly....
We spent the weekend in Albuquerque and were looking for some good Indian food. Rasoi offers a variety and also combinations. Each meal has plenty of food. Thank you, it was very delicious and we enjoyed it very much. The only issue was that it took some time to be waited so don't be in a rush when you go!
