This place dished up THE worst breakfast I have ever had in my life. They should have paid us to eat that nasty mess. It was like they took all the old leftovers out of the back of the fridge and threw it on a too hot griddle, pressed it under a brick, add a side of over cooked thingys that might have been potatos once and then just before the whole thing turns to dust they serve it up. I won't even comment on the questionable cleanliness.
I didn't expect much when I first walked into Tofflers. It looked like your typical small town bar and grill from the outside, but I was pleasantly surprised by the atmosphere (especially the outdoor patio, which is somewhat hidden, but offers excellent outdoor dining). The true shock, however, came when I tried the food, which was shockingly good. The soup of the day (corn chowder) was tangy and flavorful, and the chicken sandwich I ordered was also good. I loved the homemade potato chips dipped in ranch dressing. I would say that the only downside was that I was a little confused about how to be seated when I walked into the restaurant, but that was solved pretty quickly. All in all, I would really recommend this restaurant. It is surprisingly good and well-worth repeat visits.
