A real surprise!! My husband and I had a coupon and decided to give it a try. Our first impression was not great because it is in the lower level of the hotel and looks a little like a small hotel banquet room. Nicely decorated, but very hotel-like. Once our food arrived, we didn't care about the atmosphere because it was delicious. We started with the coconut shrimp and crab stuffed portabella mushroom for apps. Both were great. For dinner, I ordered the Rasta Pasta (available as spicy or as mild as you like) and he got the Stewed Chicken. Both entrees were awesome and were served in ample quantities. We were too full for dessert, but will definitely go back again and try it the next time. Despite the location and hotel-like decor, this place is one of Morris County's best kept secrets as far as food is concerned. Nice change of pace from typical fare. The staff is very polite and friendly as well. Definitely worth a try!! (don't forget, it's BYOB, but they do apparently sell wine by the bottle.)

Hello Hibiscus and the general public as well. I would like to Congratulate Hibiscus on the great Presentation this past week. My freinds and I were impressed with the Spirits and the Menu from entre to dessert. The music was also great. New Jersey has improved it's Jazz & dinner portfolio with the inclusion of Hibiscus Restaurant. Congrats to all. I will be back and I will definately refer your location to my friends and colleagues. Keep up the good work!!

This restaurant is truly a first of its kind, located on the lower level of the best western hotel, offers unique dining experience,my friends and i were able to enjoy a choice of traditional NY sirloin steak with the best homemade mashed potatoes, ginger crusted salmon, jerked chicken & oxtails served with rice n peas n plantains,we then topped off the evening with their famous rum flavored bread pudding, not to mention we enjoyed their first live entertainment owith steel drums played by JR from trinidad..It was a wonderful evening out.i would recommend it to anybody looking for somthing new to eat and to do.
