Arezzo's Italian Fine Dining, Winchester

Great food and atmosphere. My wife and I would recommend Arezzo's to anyone. I took my wife there for her birthday and was pleasantly surprised to find such high quality Italian cuisine. Try it, you'll like it!

I stopped one day for lunch and regret I will not return. The staff was unfriendly and cold, I had to wait almost 10 minutes for a table (I was alone) even though there were lots of tables available, just no staff to seat me and a sign requiring me to wait. I ordered a sandwich and it was very unremarkable. The bread was stale and the meats tasted like they came from the local supermarket. Fries were cold on arrival. Very few people in the restaurant, and I soon found out why.

We have eaten 3 times at this restaurant. The first time for dinner after it first opened. Not a bad meal but the veal was tough and the plate was covered in ratatouille filler. The second time for lunch in late 2008. Mediocre; same tough veal. The third (last time) was for dinner early in the week. What we got was warmed up leftovers from lunch. Terrible. Certainly no 'fine dining' in this dingy place! Service is just OK

The quality if the food is really unexpected for a town like Winchester. It's absolutely fantastic. The dinner prices can be a little steep, but if you go for lunch they gave a great variety of Italian dishes, sanswiches, and other lunch fare to choose from, and the prices are a lot better. And the desserts are divine.
