I tried it once and was not impressed. I opted for the deep dish remebering my time in Chicago and how I enjoyed this favorite. Not only was it not layered like the authentic, but the veggies were still raw and in some cases cold. The crust, top and bottom, were undercooked, and the cheese had little to no flavor. I would suggest they try mixing their cheeses. Fresh mozzarella needs help to be flavorful. Try some provolone. Ultimately, I might have to try the thin crust version some day, but if it ends up anything like the deep dish, I will sorely be disappointed.
We love Scott's Chicago Pizza. We grew up in in Chicago and miss the original Uno's...Scotts is pretty darn close. Great sausage, just like in Chicago. The thin crust is wonderful but we love the deep dish. Don't know about the other review here - we get Scott's pretty regularly and its always hot and really good.
Scott's a great guy. I've been teasing him for a year about the Bears loss to the Colts in the Super Bowl. He still brings me pizza when I order.
Truly a great Chicago-style pie. I'd give it 6 stars if that was possible.
We just had Scotts Chicago Pizza for the first time and we are hooked!! Not only did they deliver to us on the other side of town, but they got the pizza here in 30 min. in the snow! They had told us it would be 45 min.
The Pizza was hot, as if it had just come from the oven. The toppings were fresh and plentiful. My very picky family loved it!
We all agreed that this is our new pizza place.
I have tried all the pizza places in Flagstaff(cuz I love pizza), and I really enjoyed Scott's pizza. I had the deep dish mushroom and pepperoni. The crust was great, the toppings and sauce were fresh and tasty. Scott's is one of my new favorite pizza. Gonna try the thin crust next.
