JAI cuisine fuses rich Asian tradition and flavor with contemporary culinary trends. Dishes such as "Duck Trio", "Miso Marinated Salmon", and " Shanghai Lobster" coupled with the modern ambiance of the dining space are sure to please the palate. JAI by Wolfgang Puck (pronounced "Jay") draws on the Thai word for "heart" and also refers to a Chinese good luck dish. We are located next to La Jolla Playhouse's Mandell Weiss Forum. The restaurant was designed by esteemed architect Martin Vahtra, founder of PROJECTS architectural and interior design firm in New York. JAI is available for private events on non-performance days/evenings, and offers drop-off and full-service catering.
