Akamaru Japanese Restaurant, Visalia

The best seat in the house is at the bar which only serves about 12 and is usually full. Other than that there are only tables which is why I gave it a 4. The Chef is very friendly and fast. He requests a prompt order for timely service for guests, but is very friendly. We ordered a Tiger Roll, flying tiger, dragon roll, Soft shell crab appetizer and the Dynamite Casserole (fish, scallops, shrimp, crab, mushrooms in a cream sauce). All were under ten dollars each and on Mondays there is 15% off of all rolls. Good service from wait staff and wonderful sushi! Great!

Wow. We have been here twice now and have been really impressed. First, its not pricey, the presentations are really wonderful and the portion sizes are hearty. The service staff is attentive and helpful. Did I mention delicious? We certainly are making this one of our regular stops.

What a treat!!! Great, fast service and a wonderful selection of sushi and entrees. This is my favorite Japanese restaurant in Visalia.
