We took our six year old daughter to AJ s on a Sunday night. It was our first visit, and it will most definitely be our last. The place was chaotic, dirty, and half the games didn t work or took the wrong amount of credit from the play card. The food was terrible, the staff nonchalant, and the prices were WAY out of line for what you get. There were no management types to be seen anywhere, just a bunch of bored teenagers counting the minutes until the end of the shift. The one bright spot of the night was the girl at the prize counter who was doing her best to keep the line moving, and not allow several people try to claim their prizes out of turn. Otherwise, it was an absolute disaster. Stay away from this place.
Visiting my parents in Phoenix and we took my kids to Amazing Jake s on a Monday afternoon/evening. The crowds were very light and we got to ride the rides as often as we liked. The buffet is good, fun games/rides for all ages.
I LOVE Amazing Jakes! The food wasnt the best but the rides are fun...for little kids. some rides are for older kids but they could have more rides! once i went and 2 kids puked from the teacup ride...REMOVE that!! i have always waned to get on the rock climber but im afraid of heights and too scared to fall (even though i wont!!)
Amazing Jakes was truly an embarassment for me. Took out of town relatives there; overpriced, confusing pricing structure, very dirty.
The place definitely is in need of refurbishing; carpeting in golf area ripped and torn, rest rooms filthy, and not enough ride attendants. There was one attendant for 6 rides, so most of your time was spent waiting in line.I definitely would not recommend this place to anyone.
Clearly you can see that the profits are not put to good use. Owner does not care!!!!!
