Fresco Trattoria & Bar, Carlsbad

Nothing good about his place. Food and service were horrible, and they screwed up our wine order, my food was undercooked, their flatware was dirty, and they screwed up our bill in the end. This place is crap!

I had in this restaurant the best experience in the last four years, the food is amazing, the atmosphere awesome, the hospitality was great, (the owner is Italian) and the wine ....., they have a huge cantina. (take a walk later, you will order a bottle!!!!!!) Also the waiter knows what's in the kitchen. I will go back for sure and you should too.

We have been there on 2 separate occassions. Food and service are outstanding.

This is BY FAR the BEST restaurant I have been to since coming to Oceanside in Janurary. The entire staff created an atmosphere that is enjoyable for all. The Bruschetta was amazing as well as the wine, entree, and dessert. I am leaving with the US military for deployment and this particular night I was dining alone. The STAFF made my last night in Oceanside memorable and encouraging. I LOVE THIS PLACE and it will be my first stop on the return from my deployment! Ask for Sharon to be your server and Leone has a great personality! I see why they are in this business. GOD BLESS and thank you for an AMAZING evening!!! Kendra

Extraordinary restaurant. This is our go to place -- in the neighborhood (we can walk over), fabulous pastas (as good as I have had in Florence and Milan), excellent fish, friendly service, FABULOUS chef ( we absolutely love him ), I could go on and on . I need to try everything on the menu as a due diligence matter .

Great Restaurant. Now under new ownership and a new name. Enoteca Zin. Same great menu and chef. So those of you looking for Fresco Trattoria try the new owners. They are great people and been in the business a long time.

This place has so much potential but is so poorly managed, I will not go back. With places like Vigaluccis just around the corner, it's a miracle they're still in business. What decent Italian restaurant serves stale bread and wont tell you the vintages on their wine list? Service and atmosphere are mediocre. Entrees we had were good but overall, I'd grade them a D+.
