Tycoon Flats, San Antonio

We just want to say GREAT JOB Raul!!! He's usually our waiter at flats and he's awesome. He's very nice & fast with our service. We go there quite a bit sometimes saturday after saturday for a month. The FOOD IS SOOO GOOD. Everytime we go its always consistent. Always taste great. We usually order the Piggie piggie w sweet potatoe fries w poblano sauce as dip for fries and our daughter the bean & chesse nachos. We rave about the food to our family and friends & thats why we had a little get together for my husbands bday. Once again Raul took care of us all with excellent service. So-so service and the burgers are just ok. I got the bean burger (my old favorite) and it was dry and overcooked. Maybe it was an off night, but you would think Saturday night would be when they would try to get their s**t together. Second time in just a few months and both times were the same. Not really worth it unless you are in the area and don’t feel like going anywhere else that has a better burger.

I love this place! Delicious Food with lots of menu variety, warm and cozy atmosphere, and a very friendly staff. The Flats is great for families (fun play equipment outside that the kids love!), singles and college kids (Trinity and young twenties hot spot), The gay scene (unofficial gay night on Wednesdays), and for anyone else who enjoys a good burger, brew, and live music.

The NEW Tycoon Flats is now open! It is no longer Kingston Tycoon Flats, but has gone back to its original name, simply Tycoon Flats. Great bands line-up, margaritas are great, food is better, and fun crowd in the huge back yard! Come on the live music nights, usually Wednesdays - after the Candlelight.
