I go to las olas almost weekly and have never gotten bad service or food. I am mexican and grew up eating it everyday so I am very picky about the types of mexican food I eat but this place is by far the most authentic around and anyone who has eaten real mexican (not tex-mex or chain mexican) would probably agree. Its always fresh and tailored to what you want and they other healthy meals. I only wish there were more of these around.
I am another one-time customer, and I don't have an agenda. Perhaps I should have gone with something other than the fish tacos, but they were absolutely disgusting. It wasn't just marginal, it was awful and I will never set foot in that place again. It's really too bad too, I work in town and love Mexican food.
Las Olas prepares excellent Mexican food, especially for the Northeast. NH isn't exactly known for their Mexican food! The ingredients are fresh, the service is quick, and they staff actually gives a damn about their customers. I would recommend this place to anyone, anywhere.
Wayne, bummer that you had a bad experience. My family eats here 2-3 times per month since they have been open, and it has been more consistent than any chain restaurant out there. I think you hit a bad day.
Not authentic, food was horrible. steak quesadilla was more like a taco salad. They didnt even use brown rice. Chicken burrito was soggy and the chicken tasted old and bitter. i am a first and last time customer. As far as mexican food goes, it is one of the worst places i have ever eaten.
I have never been a HUGE fan of mexican food, but this place is GREAT! They serve up fresh tacos and burritos and don't hold back on quality or quantity of their food. A recent addition to the Exeter area, I first stopped in with my mom for lunch a few weeks ago and now am a regular. In addition to the great tasting burritos and tacos, they also have big flavorful salads and some other alt. choices for eats. The prices are completely resonable which would explain the line at lunch! You order and work your way down the line watching the food prep person prepare your dish to your specifications. The atmosphere is great, colorful and vibrant!
