Big Chill Restaurant, Key Largo

Hey Jimmy Johnson, Ever think of hiring a chef? It might be a very wise defensive move on the part of your kitchen. Baked potatoe simple the only problem the potatoe was colder then the sour cream and butter. Jimmy I hate my baked potatoe reheated in microwave let alone with the toppings on it. A real kitchen staff would have heated a new item then placed the toppings on. Ever see melting icecream? Main item on the plate blackened dolphin easy right don't need to be from the Big Easy,do yeah? Blackened yes dry and over cooked totally yes. Oh, your plates are to big for the portions. My dolphin and potatoe were swimming on a sea of white. Postive note our waiter was top shelf and the beer was cold.

HORRIBLE and AWFUL come to mind when I think about my experience at BIG CHILL. LARRY is the owner and I am sure JJ would be ashamed to be associated with such a clown. The pizza's that Larry attempts to make taste horrible. LARRY treats customers as if they should be grateful to be allowed to enter his establishment. DO NOT GIVE YOUR HARD EARNED MONEY TO LARRY THE PIZZA CLOWN. Watch your cars as well, they tow depending on how LARRY is feeling that day.

Great location and good food. Very disappointed with the Servers and Management. Could not get a Server to take our order. When we advised the Manager of the problem, He spoke to the server who continued to ignore us and the manager failed to follow up on the problem. He didn't seem to care that his Server was being very insubordinate and rude. No one seems to be in control of what goes on there. We ended up having to go to the bar to order food. If Jimmy Johnson knew his restaurant was being run this way, he would be very upset. We are in the area often and will not be returning. Neither will our friends and family.

worst restaurant I have been to in 18 years living in Key Largo. Food was late over 2 hours arriving two orders sent back couldn't get table cleared to order dessert Would never go back!! July 13, 2009

Great location, great view beautifully done... service is terrible adn manager's response even worse. Been twice and 1st time was ok but figured they must be having a off night. 2nd time wa much worse despite it being a quite night. Not child friendly at all. Went there as a group of eleven with 3 children ages 7 - 13. After finally eating kids went outside on the patio while the adults finished up and paid the bill. I walked out on the patio to find a couple engaged in "oral" relations only 10 feet from the bar and staff and right where mhy kids were playing. Manager did throw them out (apparantly for the 2nd time) but did not even offer up a simply "sorry" only offered to take $20 off the servers 20% tip that had automatically been added to our bill. 11 locals who will not return...

We have been here three times now, and have not been disappointed. The sunset at the Tiki Bar is gorgeous. The bar staff is attentive and friendly. After cocktails we dined outside. The fish sandwich was fabulous everytime we were here. Again, the staff was attentive and knew the menu. If there is a game you want to see, head inside to the sports bar - guaranteed you'll enjoy the experience all around.

I was so impressed with this place. It literally had everything. You could come back 5 times and have 5 completely different experiences. The martini bar was heaven!

This place is absolutely gorgeous There is nothing like it in Key Largo! Who needs to go to Key West, when paradise is right here! The sports bar was heaven and martini bar was beautiful. My meal was awesome and nothing like a nice cold drink looking at that gorgeous sunset and water on the bay! definetly would recommend this place
