If you're looking for an authentic Brazilian Churrascaria, this is NOT it. The meal began badly with a round ciapirinhas - the Brazilian national cocktail - which were made with some kind of carbonated beverage like Sprite or 7up. Sorry, but ciapirinhas do not contain soda pop. The meats were mostly flavorless and far from plentiful. The servers brought each of the meats to our table once. When asked if we would like anything else we requested more picanha but it never came. We asked again but to no avail. Anyone who thinks this is an authentic Brazilian churrascaria has never been to a Fogo de Chão or other authentic Brazilian restaurant. There are plenty of great restaurants in Visalia. This is not one of them.
Rio Churrasco is by far the best restaurant in Visalia! The service was amazing, everyone took time getting to know their patrons. The food was completely authentic and delicious! I have been to many Brazilian Restaurants before, and this one is by far the best one ever! The atmosphere is warm and inviting. I think because its a smaller restaurant, its more intimate and enjoyable. If you havent eaten there, YOU ARE MISSING OUT!!!!!!!!!
This Brazilian restaurant was truly a wonderful experience for us. The food is fantastic and the service wonderful. I never ate so many different kinds of meats and being from Portuguese decent, it brought back many wonderful memories of my Mom's cooking.
