Finally found a good Indian restaurant that is similar to the English style. Great flavorful, spicy curries, nice decor, good service. I didn t give a full 5 star as the service was a little slow, and could improve - but not bad by any means. Also, the waiter didn t mention the curries came with rice, so we had way too much. Otherwise I am very happy to find this place.
Recently moved to the area and have been looking for a good Indian Restaurant the reviews made us curious enough to try. As we walked in the linens and abstract artwork had us intrigued. We looked over the menu and asked for some recommendations. The wine list had some amazing choices that paired well with the eggplant appetizer we could not get enough of! AMAZING. The cucumber salad was fresh, tasty and light. We ordered the Chicken Tikki Masala and the Lamb with rice and garlic naan. I asked for more spice so the chef made up a special spicy sauce as requested.
The dishes are served in copper pots that seemed to hold pots of gold in the form of Indian cuisine. The pastry chef made creme brule in 3 flavors; ginger, mango and chocolate.

At first the service was very good....then I noticed declining standards of service. I never saw the same staff two times in a row. One day I found a huge hunk of lamb in my food....One side of the buffet is entirely vegetarian so this should not have happened. When I complained to the owner, he just argued with me and said it couldn't be. No apologies.
And it is almost impossible to get drinks. Refills on water are hard to come by as well. There are a couple really nice workers there, but by and large this place is overrated.
Salsa music constantly blasts out of this low priced but excellent burrito place. Behind the counter you will find shelves
filled with more hot sauces than you have probably ever seen in one place, each hotter than the last ...
Located in Downtown San Jose, Mezcal boasts one of the most distinctive dining rooms in San Jose. The brick exterior,
metal work and indigenous Mexican motifs, sets the restaurant apart from its neighbors. Although the design is urban upscale, ...
