Best restaurant in Placerville. There have been loads of amazing smaller restaurants in Pville but they have all vanished due to the economy. Heyday is my favorite to come home to (I do not currently live in Pville anymore). Their prices are very reasonable for great quality food and they are very accommodating every time I have been there. Their selections are diverse upscale american food and offer a wide variety of tasteful plates.
Heyday is the best restaurant in Placerville. We are repeat customers and have always had excellent meals and service. It can get crowded, but it is extremely friendly and we think this adds to the fun. A reason to stop in Placerville on your way to or from Tahoe.
I've been to HeyDay many times and always found the food delicious, and the service excellent. Love the atmosphere - only criticism is the noise level, which can be considerable with their popularity. They could use some sound absorbing material on ceiling and walls.
Food was horrible (chicken was dried out and the pizza crust was burnt) and to top it off the owner's son was rude when items were returned to the kitchen. Wine selection was nice, but could offer more local wine selections.
