Andiamo - Riverfront, Detroit

BEST treatment we have ever received from a restaurant establishment! Not only were they incredibly accommodating during our complicated reservation, but the food was SUPERB and the staff was FIRST-RATE. The owners truly care about taking care of their customers and it shows through great service & quality. Very hard to find that combination these days. FANTASTIC all the way around.

Me and my sister tried this restaurant last weekend and we loved it! The valet is for the building not just the restaurant, so it was pretty pricey, but there are garages close by so id recommend that. The atmosphere was wonderful and there were lots of people on dates, so its a good date spot. our waiter was very kind and responsive. since the titles of the dishes are in Italian oh course we couldn't pronounce them, but he was really nice about it and answered all 1000 of our questions! since it was our first time the manager gave us our appetizer free which was a plus, although we didn't like it. lol i cant remember the name of it but it was two big fried noodles stuffed with mozzarella cheese and risotto. i don't like the texture of risotto so that wasn't going to be good for me anyway. the sauce was amazing though! in fact all of the sauces were good. my entrée was one of the chefs creations for the day. It was an alfredo like sauce with white wine, noodles, tomatoes, spinach, and perch. the name of the dish was lake perch. it was good but pricey! with your entrée you get a bread basket, choice of soup or salad, and a separate small plate of pasta with your choice of sauce. i ordered a cream puff for dessert and a cup of cappuccino. everything was delicious and i will be returning when my sister returns from overseas!

The food at Andiamo's is great but can be kind of pricey at times. I always feel like royalty because of the way the wait staff treats you.
