Taste of Bangkok, Haverhill

Taste of Bangkok has the best Thai food outside of Boston that I have eaten. We have dined there a half dozen times, and every dish has been superb, from the classic Thai Pod (including the Spicy version) to the appetizer sampler to the vegetarian special to the custard dessert. Service is good - eager to please without hovering. We recommend it to all our friends and finally decided to write a review to recommend to strangers as well! They had serious problems with the cold last winter, but seem to have fixed it.

We ate at Taste of Bangkok last night and can only ding them on the temperature of the building. Their heat was broken and it was REALLY cold in there - so cold that they were bringing individual heaters to each table in an attempt to keep guests warm. It didn't really work. (I give them credit for trying though). I'm not going to deduct points for the heat issue because things like that can happen and it may not be their fault. Service was attentive and gracious, and the food is absolutely delicious. We tried the Thai rolls with peanut sauce, the chicken with pine nuts and spicy pad thai noodles. The pad thai noodles were our favorite, but the chicken dish came in at a close second. I'll definitely go back with high hopes that they have the heat fixed because the menu has a number of other items on it that I really wanted to try.

The service here is excellent and the food is incredible! I've brought several people here and they have all raved about the place. I thought Thai food was always spicey, but they have items that range from not spicey at all to VERY spicey. Plus, the food can be tailored to meet your taste for heat. The options on the menu are very diverse, ranging from steak and chicken dishes to duck and fish ones. We love the place and continue to go back.

The food is really good and the game is always on at the bar. Parking is a b*tch but other than that I really like the place.
