Had a Wonderful Meal & Evening...Wine Was Delicious! Knowledgeable Staff. My Wife does not like Red Wine However I do. The Server Recommended us a light/sweet Italian Wine that would pair well with both of our dishes and boy she was right. Cant wait to return. : )

What a Fun and Fantastic Place! Food and Wine were yummy Too!!!! Try the Lobster Pot Pie. I guess they Just Added to their Menu and it is Creamy, Full of Vegetables and Huge Chunks of Lobster. My New Favorite Place to Eat!

I moved to Lincoln in the last few months and found Carmela's to be a wonderful place to relax and add to the fact out server who we now request is amazing. Danielle is always there to greet us with a smile and get us the wine we like. Sometimes the food is just ok only the service makes up for it! I look forward to going to carmela's for the wonderful service I get.

I have been to Carmela's 3 times now and 3 is enough!! Why would I go back a second and third time? The first time we had a waiter on what I assumed to be his first day. Terrible service but I understand. Second time the service was again terrible but the individual was much more experience. The third time we went with friends who were interested in trying it - despite our warning. BRUTAL service from the moment we walked in the door until we left. The food was fine and the prices were a little high but pretty reasonable. Overall, not worth returning to.

Great Food and Wine! Loved it! Great Service! Nicely decorated and the best bathrooms in Lincoln. Server was not knowledeable about a particular wine that we had questions on so she brought us their Sommelier and Wow is she great! She actually pointed us in a different direction that the wine we chose due to our wants and dislikes. The wine was smooth and paired awesome with our Ribeyes! Can't wait to go back!

Just moved to lincoln and was extremely Impressed! As I entered I was greeted by friendly staff and the place is absolutely darling. I got to know my server very well and he said that Carmela's had a new Chef take over the 1st of December and It has been a screaming success ever since. I am originally from the West Coast but have been a Boston Girl For the Last 20 years. I was so dissapointed when my Husm=band Moved me to Nebraska. I love food! I have dined in the most fabulous restaurants in the Country and Carmela's Is by far in my top 10 restaurants. I had the Oscar's Favorite ( 8oz Filet topped with a homemade crab cake and smothered in Bechemel Sauce) which was suggested by my server and the Filet was cooked to a perfect Med Rare and the CRAB CAKE WOW! YUMMY! Thank you Lincoln for Supporting Carmela's! Since my first visit I have been back 4 times in Two weeks and it has been delicious every time!

Perhaps the best place in Lincoln! A week ago my wife and I went there to celebrate my birthday and we had a fantastic meal. The menu had a lot of interesting selections. I ordered a steak which was cooked perfectly and my wife had a pasta dish with chicken. The food was hot tasty and not just typical cooking. I found out their chef is very young but is very talented and creative. They had a nice wine selection and we ordered a Chianti that was really nice. The service was great and I really enjoyed he decor. While the quality and service were high the food prices were not. I thought the wine menu was a little overpriced. We will be back again.

My husband and I came to Lincoln late on Saturday evening and we were starving! We decided to stay at the extended stay on 70th and Pioneers. We asked the front desk what she perferred for dining and she had mentioned Carmela's which was walking distance. When we arive we were informed that they had stopped serving food at 10 pm however the wine bar was still open. The place is beautiful so we decided to stay for a cocktail. Our server, Sarah was awesome. She had told the owner and Chef that we were looking for a place to get dinner and the owner, Marcy I believe is here name said that they would be more than happy to make us some pasta and even turned on the oven for garlic bread which was delicious! This place is one of the best dining experiences in Lincoln! They deserve a huge pat on the back. Not only was our service amazing but our pasta was SUPERB!!!
