We happened onto La Tavola one rainy evening with our two small children and decided to give it a try. It was WONDERFUL! I ordered the chicken alfredo, our daughter had a kids' pizza, and my husband got pasta as well. We also had appetizers and cannoli and it was all very filling with generous enough portions that we ate the leftovers for lunch the next day. Beyond the great food, the service was amazing. Our waitress was one of the best we've ever had, and was great at accommodating our kids. I would highly recommend La Tavola to anyone looking for food anywhere near Burlington.
Outstanding! That is what first comes to mind when I think of La Tavola. My wife and I went there on a date, and the service was excellent. Everybody was very friendly and the food! The food was amazing. I ordered a small pizza and it was fantastic! I have a thing for pizza and theirs is top notch. Nothing was overbearing but it was so flavorful. My wife had a pasta/chicken dish, I can't recall the name, but she just kept raving about it. We definitely reccomend La Tavola. You should either call ahead or make a reservation because they do fill up quick. Buono apetite!
Awsome place for a great birthday dinner. My boyfriend took me out for my 25th birthday. The service was outstanding. Jenna that night took care of us and really made it special for me. The garlic knots are always steaming hot when they arrive ( try it with the oil too ) The veal parmesan was great! The seafood in the pasta is soo fresh. They also give canolies for birthdays. Everything was perfect!
Having lived in Tuscany in the past, my standard for Italian food is pretty high. La Tavola in Burlington far exceeds it. Not only is it some of the best I've had in America and not seem out of place in North Beach San Fran, South Side Chicago, or Brooklyn, but it's food would rival the best in Florence. They do the little things right. The sauces are well seasoned and made from scratch, the bread is fresh and fluffy, and even the pasta is cooked just right. I recommend any pasta dish, the lasagna, and any of their deserts.
This place is amazing! Carlos, as I told you on Saturday, it was the BEST lasagna I've ever had! ....and the Tiramasu was fabulous! My husband and I made our first trip to Burlington, and wanted a special meal while we were in town. We got it, The service was excellent, (the waitress even made fresh coffee for us). We both had very good wine, I had a huge serving of lasagna, my husband had wings and a salad, (my salad came with my meal), bread, both of us had coffee, and we shared the dessert. The bill was $40 and some change. Great food, great price, great service. We'll be back.
This restaurant is absolutely amazing! I have tried several items on the menu and have not been disappointed yet! All of their dishes are delicious and the desserts are incredible. It's also very affordable (in my opinion, they are undercharging for their superior quality food). This is one place that is a MUST EAT AT.
This restaurant is quite the treat for our town. Gourmet Italian food in such an odd location is so special for these New Jersey natives. The tab is not on the 'cheap side'; BUT the quality belies the prices. There are no lesser menu selections so the diner will not be dissapointed either for appatizer or entree.
