My friends and I are always looking for places to do our sushi nights. We stopped going to Ra, and ended up coming here. After about 6 months of doing sushi nights here we stopped and decided to go to a little place way in East Mesa. The service is alright, and the food is alright too. I do not have a favorite roll, but I like ordering the dragon roll because it looks cool. I do like their happy hour and the location is perfect.
I tried this place for the 1st time on Monday night.
It exceeded my expectations the drinks were wonderful
and the sushi rolls were great (flavorful and good size portions). To add to my delight it was ladies night so there was an awesome discount. I love sushi
and usually go to Suhi Eye everytime but this place will be added to my list of favorite dining places.
I went to Kabuki last night with some friends. At first everything was great. Ordered an appetizer which was wonderful. Drinks were pretty good too. Then it took 30 minutes to get our food which we weren't too terribly upset about. Except when it took an additional 15 to receive the order. Then they didn't bring out 3 rolls because they didn't punch them into the computer. Then two of those took 20 minutes and the third we gave up on. Worst service EVER! With the exception of the appetizer the food sucked!! They put things in the rolls that weren't supposed to be there, the fish was flavorless, and the portions were tiny for the price.
So far I've been to this location twice. The food has been good as well as the service. Their happy hour specials are great. I only wish they were open a bit later. This location being in Tempe Marketplace is great because that mall also has so much to do.
