Val's Italian Rstrnt & Pizza, Canton

We have been coming to Vals' with our friends who work First Monday every month and usually twice that weekend. I went in this afternoon to forewarn them (as usual) that we would be comng in with 12-15 people just as a courtesy. Our usual waiter, Dino, is no longer there, a huge disappointment since he alway took such good care of us. Needless to say, the service sucked (major wait- over 1 hour for dinner, drinks 10 minutes, flatware for rolls served after asking and waiting 10 minutes, menus handed to me to pass out and I was at the end of the table-furtherest corner (since I was the one to come warn them), food passed down from the easiest area to be had it to by the waiter for everyone to pass it down high school cafeteria style hand over hand-aweful). Dinner was not as ordered and food was watered down- uck! Pizza ordered was to be an extra large came as a medium and lopsided with most of the ingredients on one side only. We brought a second bottle of wine to have with dessert and couldn't wait to get out of there besides no dessert was offered. The owner did come to the table to offer to cook another pizza but with two hungry teenagers-who wanted to wait for it again-another hour????! After spending over $200 a month there consistantly, there was no offer of anything to make up for it so we WILL NEVER GO THERE AGAIN!! AVOID AT ALL COSTS!
