For expat Southern Californians here in San Antonio this is truly the BEST place to get homestyle food! Carne Asada, Carnitas, Machaca, and more. As a Native Los Angeleno, I was very impressed even the flour tortillas for the burritos are cooked just like in SoCal and stuffed with arroz, frijoles, and guacamole and your choice of meat, fish, potatoes can be added as well. This place is just like the old restaurants in East LA were before the Centro-Americano invasion. One down side is they don't serve chicharron here, but the lengua, tripas,(crispy on 2 corn tortillas with cilantro and cebolla....MMMM)more than make up for that! Los Robertos is also open 24 Hours and the prices are right too, mid priced for San Antonio. Almost Forgot, Yahoo! and The Yellow Pages have the address wrong, should be 226 W. Bitters Rd. it's just off of US HWY 281 in the same strip mall area as Baptist HealthLink behind E-Z's (South Side of Bitters Rd. @ US HWY 281). I've tried to update this, hopefully will take effect.
