I have been to a Melting Pot twice before so I am familiar with the set up. I was extremely disappointed in three things in particular at this restaurant. 1. Although the waitress was nice, we waited at least 20min after we sat down for drink orders, the service was ridiculously slow, and one of our burners kept going out. Our dessert fondue on the broken burner never did melt our chocolate fully. I understand there is an 18% tip on 5 or more people, but in all honesty is wasn't warranted. Even though I am aware its a dining experience, charging us an extra per cooking sauce after we are paying for two and one/half times the classic experience ( is just nickle and diming your customers. Not sure if we will be back.
