everytime i go there its great how would you like the host to put the menus on the table lightly placed i never knew there was a way of placing menus grow up learn real food and atmosphere the employees are great and if you get to know the owner you will learn that everyone that works there has been there since they open and do you not realize most 80 percent of there stars are very high.......
We have eaten at La Piazza 3 times. The food is good but the service each time was sub-par. The last time we were there, the hostess led us to our table, dropped the menus on the table and walked away without a word. Suffice to say, we take our business elsewhere.
This is a wonderful little restaurant. So uniquely New York! The owners and staff all have New York accents -- and are all delightful. They really care about the customers. The food is delicious! I love the fact that their chairs are big and comfortable. Seems like a fancy dining area, but we can go casually dressed.
What a wonderful experience La Piazza was! We recently celebrated my daughter's 21st birthday there....and we were all very impressed with the willingness of the staff to make sure her day was special. The bread and dipping sauce was excellent, the meal was out of this world, and it's certainly a place where we will go again. My only regret is I didn't discover the place sooner.
The best Italian food in the area served in a friendly, cheerful and quick manner. Everything is freshly prepared and the portions are more than generous. My family and friends have been here on several occasion and never disappointed no matter what we chose whether pasta, fish, chicken, meat, pizza. The side dishes are just as tasty and generouse and different from the usual. From their special bread and dipping oil to their huge-sized desserts you'll enjoy a feast. You'll leave more than satisfied and with a doggie bag for the next day. Had the best Mother's Day dinner and can't wait to celebrate Father's Day there also. More than a 5 star rating.
Wife and I really loved our first visit week in April 2010. We had the homemade bread with oil/vinegar and fried calamari for appetizer and the taste was awesome and nearly filled our appetite. Fully intent on trying some of the menu, she chose the lobster ravioli in vodka sauce and I had the baked ziti. The portion of ziti was very large and full of cheeses and pasta. Delicious! My wife very much enjoyed the ravioli too! We are ordering takeout tonight! highly recommended!!!
The best pizza in the area. Period. When eating in the food takes just a little bit longer than you expect to arrive, but the food is good. Overall this place is almost as good as Venero's in Clayton, but the pizza is the real deal and even better than Venero's' pizza (which is saying a lot).
