Mayberry Junction, Manteno

Seriously don t understand were they are getting bad reviews. They have awesome pancakes and skillets and the service is good.

My wife and I stopped in to eat...NEVER again! The waitress was okay...but the food was HORRENDOUS!!!! Greasy, nasty, overcooked and just plain HORRIBLE.....Go anywhere besides this place!!

I was there alone and received my food AFTER a table of two, who came in much later than I, got theirs...and I was a regular that tipped well!! Go figure. I will not go back. I am going to Yannis now.

I have been to this restaurant a lot of times. The food is good and the waitresses are wonderful, but the owners are rude and obnoxious. Today, I got there for breakfast ahead of the rest of my family. There were a total of five in our party. They gave me a table, and as I waited for the rest of my family to arrive, I sat and had a cup of coffee with some friends at a neighboring table. As my family pulled into the driveway, the elderly owners son came up and told me I had to leave because he needed the table for other customers. I told him my family had just pulled in, and he rudely said he didn't care, I had to leave. I got up and left because I was dangerously close to punching his lights out. If we had been causing any type of problem, I could understand it, but all we had was my, my friend, his wife, and their five month old baby visiting. If you are going to Manteno, you can choose between this place or Yanni's Restaurant on Main Street. Yanni's is clean, the waitresses are wonderful, the food is great, and it is a pleasure to dine there. As far as Mayberry Cafe goes, our family will never go there again, nor will a number of other customers who were there were friends of mine and have since called to say how appalled they were.

the worst place ever to go the waitress are snotty espacially the owner arlene.. the food sucked had hair in it the place is a joke the kitchen looks so nasty that u would barf even the bathroom i would not go there again or ever reccomend the place to anyone

This has to be the worst place I have ever gone to. I advice anyone with taste buds to not eat here and lets not talk about the service,because that is entirely another story.

The service was so shockingly horrible my family and I will never go to Mayberry Junction Again. I would also never recommend anyone to go there if you expect any decent service at all. I have a horrific story to tell anyone about this place if they care to hear my story of this awful awful place in Manteno. I have heard just recently that I am not alone in my opinion of this nasty ,filthy place that no one should go to. One would be better off eating out of a dumpster. My email is raerae6569@yahoo.com

mayberry junction has good food, the waitresses are awesome and the owners are crazy and fun. always entertainment at mayberry.

I absolutely adore this restaurant. THE FOOD IS AMAZING with a wide selection (anyone can find something that they'll like ranging from American, Greek style to Mexican style, to comfort food, and more) The atmosphere is one of a kind, with friendly faces and a really good energy about it. It's a nice spot to go with family or friends and just relax and have some good food. Everyone is really sweet, and I always recommend it to people I know. It is inexpensive with big portions, you're sure to have left-overs. Great food, sweet people, it's a great spot.
