King Kong Sushi Bar & Grill, Myrtle Beach

My children and I ate here for lunch while in Myrtle Beach for Spring Break 2011. We were pleasantly surprised at the sushi! Was GREAT! Little bit pricey but have to say one of the best sushi places we've ever eaten at! Being half Japanese and growing up on the stuff, we are very picky about our sushi. Waitress was very friendly as well. Beautiful presentation also! My daughter had a friend with and it was her first time dining on sushi. She loved it! Was very happy we were able to culture her with some good food!

We decided to try King Kong Sushi after hearing some good reviews, the food was good but the service was terrible. The waiter was not friendly never came to refill drink unless we flagged him down. My daughter never got her salad and when I told him he was like oh ok and walked off. Nothing like being charged 18 percent for tip when the service is awful.

Great Sushi. A little pricey but well worth it. The quality is exceptional.

My husband and I went to King Kong last night for dinner. The restaurant is beautifully decorated-the full bar is really pretty all lit up, and the waitstaff was really nice. My husband is new to eating sushi, and he was pleased with the food as well. THe presentation of the food was lovely, and the quality was awesome. This is a great place to eat dinner with your significant other-or with a group of people..I would highly recommend this place if you love quality sushi!

KK Sushi is great if you go for the Sushi. If you go for the Hibachi you'll be disappointed. The Hibachi seemed to have been precooked and then reheated. Rice and shrimp was hard. My family and I tried 5 different Sushi rolls and they were all good. I gave it a 3 star rating only because it's a sushi restaurant and the sushi was great and so was the service.

Just Amazing! My husband & I go here atleast once every other week---if not every week. The sushi is delicious (my favorite is the Russian Roulette roll) and the menu features over 100 different rolls. The atmosphere is very cozy. There's a bar area, a sushi bar and tables and booths. They also have a hibachi menu. The prices are reasonable and the staff is friendly. I love this place, and everyone I know that has dined here love it too! Don't miss the restaraunt!
