There really isn't a whole lot to this place, it is rather crowded during the lunch hour, and the food is better than average. I think the thing that allows this particular restaurant to stand out from any other dine in joint in Fairbanks, is the consistency in service. I've gone in there with a group of 10-12 guys from work, with the place slammed during the lunch hour, and have never waited any longer than 15 minutes for my meal. Friendly, helpful, timely, and definitely worth trying the Azteca burrito.
The rice is dry sometimes, true, but the homemade tortillas for the crispy tacos are amazing! The restaurant is usually very busy at lunch, so I usually order something to go and before I have finished my sentence of what I want, the order is sitting in front of me. Very fast service, good food and the price is decent. The only place to get authentic Mexican food in Fairbanks... the rest are all Americanized... highly recommended.
great food. One of my wife's favorite. Pretty authenic and service very good. I must say it is very very busy on the weekday lunch hour almost no place to sit.. and with that comment it's proof the food is good.. recommend it.
