I had Mother's Day Brunch at Gracies. There were 4 of us...we were promptly seated with our reservation.
They have good coffee and my son liked the rolls. These two things are the best we had to say for the brunch. They had the usual fruit, veggie and cheese station. About 5 different hot dishes--nothing labeled so I'm not sure what they were. A decent blintz, some kind of deep fried crouquet, a chicken and vegetable dish and a platter of different kinds of seafood all lumped together. Mussels and capers were good but a few still had the beard on them. Oh yes, a carving station with ham or prime rib and an omelet bar with minimal goodies to put in it. Dessert selection was scarce with one of them being rice krispy treats. Orange juice is $6 a glass and coffee is extra as well. I had one cup of coffee and had to ask the hostess for a refill. Finished plates were never taken from our table---we just piled them up on a table next to ours. Service is lacking. I expected more at $30 a head. I usually always tip well--even at brunches---20% I didn't leave a dime. I won't be back.
