Matamoros Restaurant Y Cantina, San Antonio

great place was invited to attend a birthday party and found out it was also a restraunt was very good. the band was great danced all night.

I love matamoros!!! my family and I eat there once a week. We were so happy to discover that these are the guys from the previous faras hacienda. The drink specials are great and the fajitas and the are the most tender ive ever eaten. This has definetly become one of our regular places to dine, and dance on saturday nights.... Keep up the great place and great service......

Matamoros is a fantastic place to eat for the entire family. The food is always fresh and the drinks specials are good enough to keep me coming back for more. I've have eaten there several times and the food is hot & delicious, the wait staff is friendly & the bathrooms are clean. I highly recommend this place as a great place to eat at. The service was great. Food was HORRIBLY overpriced!! Most of the food tasted like it was store bought, not made in house. Then when we got home, we all got VIOLENTLY sick from the food. NEVER GOING THERE AGAIN!!!!!!

My family and I enjoyed a great Mother's Day dinner here today. The steak, shrimp and salmon were de'lish! This was our first visit and we'll definitely be back for more! :D

Really Bad!!! Just go to Tacobell and save about $50. Plastic in food and wait staff very rude. DONT GO...

I remember way back when this restaurant opened, I would consistently go because I thought the waitstaff was amazing. I felt right at home. Being a customer service rep myself, this was crucial. The last few times i have gone the customer service has been worse and worse. It is so disappointing! The last time I went will be the last experience I will ever have there. It was terrible. The manager in charge is an idiot and needs official manager training. I pretty much got kicked out of my table when I wasnt even done eating, because someone else needed to eat. Ridiculous! There are a million different restaurants in San Antonio. Dont go get treated like crap at this one! Customer service there is awful!!!!!!!!!!!

This place is amazing!!! Wonderful food, atmosphere, staff.. everything was great. Margarita's were perfect. I would suggest that anyone traveling to San Antonio give them a try, well worth the trip, We will definetly be back!!!
