I was in Branson last week with a group.I m fairly new to sushi and wanted to try it there.Only one other person in my group likes sushi and has been eatting it for some time.So I knew going with her I could be try some new things. We sat at the bar and had a fanstic time. The chef (Billy) was very nice and helpful. The waitress (Kate) was very good and we enjoyed her company as well.Everything we had was excellent. The chef even made us some of his favorites. It was so good we went back one last time the night before we left.I can t say enough good things about Wasabi s.It was clean, excellent food, very nice staff.TO bad it s so far from my home.I d like to make it a regular spot.
I was by myself, so I set at sushi bar and got into conversation with one of the sushi chefs - Roman - not only he makes awesome sushi, but he also is a great company, very nice and friendly. Foods was great too.
This past weekend June 3rd,2011 through June 5th I spent the weekend in Branson with my step father . He being 91 years old does not appreciate Japanese food much less sushi at all . But I on the other hand have been to many sushi bars all over and Wasabi Japanese Steak and Sushi Bar stands up to any I have ever eaten at. You will not be disappointed going to this steak and sushi bar , the second day I was there I ate there three meals in one day . Be sure to try what ever the daily specials are which will be posted on a board next to the bar .When you want great sushi in Branson Mo. go to Wasabi Japanese Steak and Sushi Bar . country man from small town Tn.
I am a sushi lover!!! I travel a lot through my job, and I try sushi everywhere I go. I have tried it in Los Angeles, Minnesota, Chicago, Atlanta, Dallas, Springfield, MO, and many other smaller places. Wasabi (Wakyoto is their new name) is the best!!! Pimp my Roll is awesome!!!!! Atmosphere is nice and staff is very friendly. I recommend Wasabi (Wakyoto) to everybody!!!
This is an excellent place to get sushi! I've been looking for a place closer to where we live and it's perfect! The food is great (best miso soup I've ever had), the staff friendly and knowledgable, and the atmosphere is inviting, with a hint of fun.
