It was the worst restaurant I ever been , Pretentious for the food they served,
overpriced for the quality of food ,I had the linguini with clam and pancetta ...the mix seafood and pancetta didn t go together and it was very fatty.
Because it is under the name Mario Batali they think they can fool people with their master cuisine ,well think again before going there , you will pay too much for nothing.
The service was bad. I have had more attentive waiters at chain restaurants. There were 4 in our party,I ordered first and they brought me the wrong meal. 30 minutes later, after everyone was done with their meal, they brought me my correct meal, so I ate alone.
They did not offer to take my meal off the bill, or even offer a complimentary dessert. Our bill for 4 was $338, not including tip. With a bill like that and it being a 5 star restaurant, they should have offered something. Too bad for the waiter, when they take it off the bill, I usually add it to the tip, his loss. Won't be eating there again!
Absolutely the very worst dollar I have ever spent in a restaurant. Tiny portions and so expensive they should be ashamed of giving you the bill. Bastianich's mother is known for family style food this was food for food idiots. I was taken there for my birthday and was sorely disappointed. I probably would not have written this except that I saw Joe Bastianich on Iron Chef tonight and he said that if someone charged him 12 dollars for a bean appetizer he would come after them in the kitchen, Well, I should have come after him! Wine was so overpriced that I was in shock. I have eaten at several other celebrity chef places on the strip and always felt that the prices were far for what I received. NOT HERE!!!
B & B Ristorante is a great Italian restaurant. My wife and I ordered several dishes so that we could try the various flavors. Overall the service was great and the food amazing. The pasta dish was the best I have ever had in flavor. The other dishes were also good. The wine selection was great but I did have to ask the waiter as I was not familiar with Italian wines. He suggested a great complimentary wine.
